“Keep It Art” – slogan of Montreal’s Parisian Laundry gallery
With so much to do in Burlington in June, now that spring has arrived. We hope you will “keep it art” as much as you can. On First Friday, that will be easy. Clark Derbes, Wylie Sofia Garcia and Ted Ollier celebrates the Quadricentennial with charts, maps and even GPS at the Firehouse Gallery. Local art is served fresh and hot at Skinny Pancake with photographs by Calvin Patterson and paintings by Gabriel Boray. Pine Street Art Works bursts with color with work by W. David Powell. Want some jazz with your art? You are in luck. Walk down to Art Space 106 at the Men’s Room for portraits by Kate Longmaid and live jazz! Or check out Isaac Wasuck’s anti-moderist paintings at Tribeca.
Pick up your copy of Art Map Burlington, First Friday Art Walk’s official publication, and your guide to art in Burlington to see a list of participating venues. Got questions? Call 802-264-4839 or send email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
