Winooski photographer Karen Lloyd has her photographs up at the O’Brien Community Center.
CCV Winooski presents “New Alchemical Pictures” by Manhattan-based artist Luigi Cicala at The Winooski Gallery at the Community College of Vermont from March through May. Large charcoal drawings on paper explore themes from Renaissance alchemical manuscripts – such as journeys through fire, rebirth, and mystical matrimony – re-imagined for our time with action figures, toys, and found objects.
The new kid on the block is The Heron Dance Wild Nature Art Gallery, which opens on March 1st, features the the art and words of wild rivers, wild nature, and the Tao by Roderick MacIver (image above). They are at 45 Main Street, next door to the Winooski Welcome Center.
