For almost three decades, the Art’s Alive Festival of Fine Art has celebrated the visual art of Vermont residents with a Juried Exhibition. The Exhibition is hosted by Main Street Landing and is installed at the Art’s Alive Gallery/SEABA in Historic Union Station at the foot of Main Street on Burlington’s Waterfront. The Juried Exhibition is judged by two independent professionals in the field of visual arts who are not affiliated with Art’s Alive and three cash prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Two additional cash prizes are The Roberto W. Fitzgerald Award, judged and awarded by the Art’s Alive/SEABA directors, and the Artists’ Choice Award, judged and awarded by the Vermont artists who registered for the festival.

36th Annual Chittenden County Senior Art Show

May 2016

Closing reception: Tuesday, May 31, 6-7PM.
“Class of 2016” artwork from 6 area schools: Mt. The VPS wants to honor the varied and considerable talents of a larger group of artists rather than to just commend a few “top winners”, so several categories of awards with clever titles (Most Luminous Landscape, Most Lively Still Life, etc.) have been chosen to promote and recognize the diverse work of this group. We have garnered wonderful prizes from the following donors: Blick Art Materials, Mt. Vision Pastels, Rochester Art Supply, French Canvas, Dostie Bros.
